Hi I am only getting 2-3mbps when connected to my WiFi.  My old S20 now being used by my partner  is up at expected 60-65mbps.  Any ideas?

I was one of the earlier posters regarding this issue. But I'm happy to report that today my S22 Ultra sees blazing fast wifi speeds on my home network almost all the time. In my case, the solution came when I convinced my ISP (Xfinity) to swap out my older router for their newest and fastest multi-mode router. Problem solved. My guess is that the older router was programmed somehow to allocate parts of its bandwidth to various devices I had on it, and effectively throttling my S22 Ultra. Now I get full 350mb speed on my S22 Ultra every time.

Hope your solution is equally easy and effective.

People are having problems regardless of old router or connection bandwidths, this is basic troubleshooting steps to realize there's is something wrong with your old box which has nothing to do with the real problem the S22 has.

The connection has been surprisingly reliable for me today as well. Not the greatest, but still. Maybe some shadow fix by Samsung? One can hope.
I know for a fact that I've been playing around with Android WebView. I have cleared data and cache of the pre-installed one, force stopped it and downloaded the beta version. The connection still fails me at times but seems a bit more stable.

I bought my S22 direct from Samsung UK in April. It suddenly developed wifi issues recently. It struggles to find wifi access points, when it does it's incredibly slow 4-13Mbps typically and it disconnects frequently. I can't use wifi in coffee shops, at work, at friends houses etc so it's not just an issue with my home router setup (which I have also reset anyway).  I tried a network settings reset on the phone, then a factory reset without joy. After much experimenting I  discovered the only wifi it can connect to reliably is a wifi6 connection but even then only if it is set to 2.4Ghz alone.

Samsung have had a look at and I've received it back in exactly the same state, they said all they found were Android issues no hardware fault, so all they did is factory reset it, it's still in it's factory reset state. I contacted Samsung and they say their technicians (Wefix) are telling them there is nothing wrong with it and so they won't do anything about it! I did ask if there's nothing wrong with it then what's the issue with swapping it for another then? No dice.

What do I do? Who do I complain to? There are no Samsung stores near me.

I can confirm this is because of you are using wifi 6. When you turn off wifi 6 from your router, everything is back to normal. This is apparently an issue with the phone. I really hope Samsung can fix it ASAP.

I know this is an old thread but anyone know how to sort this? My s22 ultra gets about 200mbps download 300mbps upload but I'm less then 1 ft away from router. ALL OVER WIFI devices get well over 900mbps both ways. Why is s22 ultra SO MUCH SLOWER!

After 2 years, problem is still there. Dont know why i bought this device. Its very annoying.

I m getting 5 mbps downloading speed & ISP plan is 100mbps.

Samsung is doing nothing to solve this problem and they r launching S24 series after s22 ultra.
