S22 Ultra problems with GPS

I have the same problem, GPS location doesn't work properly. I can hardly use Google Maps good. The one UI als laggs sometimes and crashes. Samsung Please update these problems!

My last phone the Note 20 Ultra had zero problems!

So far I've tried.

1. Gps tool box resetting gps. Limited results.
2. Calibration in Google maps. Keeps going to low accuracy after.
3. Gps sensor shows black background blue line. Makes no difference.
4. Safe mode network resets. Again no deference
5. Factory reset. Again no difference
6. Error reports, many sent no response yet.

So now what do I do, new phone 10days old dosnt work as its ment to, no replacements of my model avaliable until after the first 28days.

I buy Samsung as expect quality and better service. I'm currently left disappointed and thinking next time I'll just go cheap and cheerful rather than expensive and broken

Have the same problem. GPS works after restart and stops working after several hours.

Also the battery.. It went from 100% to 92% over night, with no mobile data or wifi turned on. Onky sync is turned on all the time.

Don't know what's the reason for this.

All, I did an experiment the last few days and it might be coincidence. I too got a big battery drain fo 10% overnight, normally get 6% but the GPS was working every day when I disabled bixby routines! I reenabled it yesterday and left it overnight and guess what, this morning gps is not working! 

How about the rest of you? Do you use bixby routines? I'm going to disable it again and see if that is the cause.

I'm having gps problems as well. Doesn't work on any navigation app.

Reboot helps for a while. then the problems start again.

Mine has been disabled since out of the box and GPS has never worked properly

So the GPS issue is only 1 of the bugs I have. Calls push to answer phone as if I'm no a call even when I'm not. This phone is going back. Might look at it again once they have fixed all the issues. Sorry Samsung but this is a buggy mess of a release

I seem to have overcome the GPS dropping out issue.
Although I'm not sure what it is that I've done other than clearing the cach.
My only issue now is that the Bluetooth connection too my Fenix 7 keeps dropping out.
Which was not the case when it was paired with my Note 9. But that could be an issue with Android 12.
Otherwise I'm happy with S22 ultra .
