Why have  you been making bent (infinity screens ) on your NOTE type of phones including the newest s22u (which I ve  just received) ?
Get this right, stylus goes with flat surface! Is a ***** writing device isn't it? Don't need useless curve on the sides , what for?.
It should be other way round, put curved screen on entry levels and other below Ultra and make ***** FLAT SCRRENS FOR STYLUS type phones. Have you ever seen round book?

As i can see it's your first Note device.

A curved display on Galaxy phones offers you a dual-curve phone screen. The beautiful integration of glass and steel, paired with the flowing lines and sloping curves of its design delivers a seemingly boundless viewing experience and holds better in your hand when used over long periods of time.

The curved edges are not only visually appealing but functional as well as they allow for viewing incoming notifications and alerts without drawing the focus away from what’s on screen or when the device is asleep.

Curved displays are available on Galaxy S22 ultra, Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note10, Note10+, S10, S10+, Note 9, S9, S9+, Note8, S8, S8+, S7 edge, S6 edge+, and S6 edge.

I suggest you to buy a case protection,  like that you won't feel the curves and you protect the sensibility of this wonderful screen.

Why did you buy it then? It wasn't something they've hidden in the masses of advertising for the device

What on earth are you talking about?
The curved edges of the S22 Ultra haven't served any benefit with notifications.
They're not curved enough like the "edge" series of devices to show notifications on the side.
The pen is very finicky to use at the edges - it just isn't interacting well with anything on those curves.
If anything, those curves make things at the edges more difficult to see if there's any sort of light source nearby - which is the majority of my day.

Well,it's actually my 6th note since note 4( 4,8,9,10,20,22).curved screen apart of esthetic doesn't serve any purpose, it doesn't improve viewing experience it does in fact th opposite, it bends light so Eggesford look darker, bent screen doesn't improve holding experience either (I don't hold my phone upside down) sharp edges of the phone already make this phone uncomfortable enough, but I can live with that. Incoming notifications on the curved screen is just a gimmick, and I have never used it, edges are not as pronounced as in the past models so this viewing function is no longer usable. Thank you for the comment nonetheless. I personally think note should have flat screen to serve what it's supposed to be :a note pad. All other models phones should be round, my beef with Samsung it that again they did the opposite.

Yes but why buy it knowing this then coming here to complain?
I do agree a flatter surface is more practical though.
