@tamnof
There is a problem, that's true, i never denied that.

But the questions are:

1. Where is the problem?

2. What  is happens in reality? Why i have the SAME PHONE as the majority and my GPS issue is gone?

3. Is there any difference in series, Samsung never told us about?
The majority says GPS fails, well i have the SAME PHONE as the majority.  The majority of people say they have: Exynos 2200, with One UI 4.1, Android 12 and april patch, the SAME PHONE as mine. Majority of people are citizens of the European Union, as i am....

4. Have anyone took steps to ask for a warranty repair?

5. Have anyone took steps to ask for a warranty replacement?

Something may have worked for me (fingers crossed and hope it remains this way). Not sure if it will work for you. But sharing what I did.

Clear data for Google maps ( same as uninstall and install back)

Installed GPS test app from playstore and let it reset GPS (without opening maps).

Opened maps ...took almost a minute to locate and after that smooth so far. I have driven almost an hour with precise GPS.

All this I have done while sitting in car under open sky (not in building parking). Not the first time I tried this though.

Hope it fixes yours too. Cheers

Furthermore, my S22U Exynos have absolutely no issues with gsp. I never did anything, just unboxed the phone and used it. It was always working, even before the updates, and after no change of course.
So the questions is indeed what the problem is? Aren't we all having the same phone ?

@DDD22, if we assume that i believe you, well, lucky you.

I am one of those for whom the S22 Ultra is a disaster, because basically so far only one bug missed me - the unlock with fingerprint while wireless charging, but i had no gsm modem update. maybe it will be integrated in the may update. otherwise camera issues, gps issue, oherheat issue, battery drain issue hit me, and i i had to do my research and updates. So if you are truly exynos 2200, one ui 4.1, 1 april patch, android 12

based on everybody else complaining from the same issues as i do, reporting the same phone as  mine. Basically i will take seriously the majority.

I can definitely understand your position of trusting the  majority having problems. But let me tell you that I have friends around me having S22U Exynos and yes indeed some of them have the camera problem, gps problems, random restarts, fingerprint lag, huge overnight drain.... well I don't have non of that and have no reason to lie about it. The thing is that there're bad phones on the market, some of the people around me got theirs replaced by warranty. And guess what - the same exact problems gone with the new unit.
So I advice everyone in the return window to make their move, the logic behind software issue is not that strong anymore as not only mine, but some of the lucky ones around me also have no gps issues.

Basically this is the behavior of the S22 Ultra after all released updates are already applied for those of us who have the issues, then in the recovery menu we cleaned the cache, then repaired apps and repaird the gps with a gps repair utility.

This raises a very good question, what is happening, and how it comes that some phones are a disaster, and fail miserably, others are working properly????

Same problem here but with s22 standard (Exynos CPU).

I use the phone for Track my run. I noticed that it is slow to pick up the GPS signal (about 1 Min) and in any case the track is very inaccurate.

Lucky indeed @DDD22. It means Samsung has a serious problem .if the assumable,  same devices behave differently, it is even more suspicious of crapped production process going there.

For those who don't believe in the hardware side of things....have you seen the XDA video of how their sample behave? How come theirs take like 2 seconds to unlock and others are instant? How come some of the devices score +30% in benchmarks? Also how some devices have a hardware issue with the camera?

Every device has its issues of course, but despite here we have 50 pages already the cases that have a working gsp are probably the majority.
Hope you all get your problem fixed, I even followed the thread before I get my S22U and tested the gps for a week in every way possible expecting of course to have the problem discussed here. Some people mentioned here in the thread that their phone is not working, but their wifes is for example. Two identical phones but one is working and the other is not? The same with me. This probably should ring a bell maybe?
