The GPS issues are common in every device its not connected with the device the link is with the internet network.

I understand the misunderstanding but the GPS is a separate antenna entirely to the network antenna, furthermore I have 0 Internet access issues during the times that the GPS drops out. A small amount of research also shows the issue is almost entirely limited to devices running samsungs own Exynos chip. The US market using the qualcom snapdragon has far less reported issues for GPS and several media outlets have mentioned samsung is aware of the issue and intends to patch it 'soon' my goal is to inform them of just how widespread the issue is so they dedicate more time/resources and prioritise a fix for the EU market with the Exynos chip

Scusa, ma non sono d'accordo...perché se è come dici tu allora circa 500 segnalazioni solo sul s22 ultra sono causati dal problema internet? In ogni parte del mondo hanno questo priblema e soli sull's22 ultra? Allora perché son il mio s8 non avevo questo problema?

This will be the second attempt to patch GPS. the first attempt was April 1 patch.
It is my Wild guess that this will be part of the may update.

there are TWO issues discussed. One is GSM modem issue, and another is GPS. this is how the mix up came to be. Either way one is linked to the other, this is not pure GPS, it is A-GPS and it is using data and help from cell towers so there is relation between both issues

Let's hope that it is something Samsung will be able to fully fix by a software / firmware downloadable update.

Grazie @Kristalex79 speto davvero che venga risolto...fastidioso per essere "diplomatica" con un top di gamma che costa sui € 1.300 avere problemi di questo tipo....

@tamnof, as you know, i am always on consumer's side. I really wish for every one these issues to be resolved as fast as possible. This is honest and sincere wish!
@Giuly65, For this price point, 1300 Euro, i paid 1300 euro for this disaster of a phone, Samsung has the obligation to deliver perfection itself. this is not a cheap "budget" solution, this is a premium flagship. Shame on samsung for delivering this disaster.

Couldn't agree more. This is completely unacceptable for such a premium priced phone. Shame on Samsung! They should have been much stricter in manufacturing process and quality checks given how widespread this is.
Seriously thinking of ditching Samsung forever if they don't come up with a solution soon. I am an Android fan and not thinking of Apple but other brands like Honor, Vivo or from Google.
