I have to agree with that assessment regarding the sound quality of the 22 being less than the 21. I don't understand how this can be possible but I have spent a lot of time trying to coax a fuller sound out of the 22 and I wish there was a 3rd party app or something that would give me the improvement I desire with the audio on this flagship phone. I thought it I could get a better sound listening through my Bluetooth via the car and ear buds but not quite so much.

I believe Samsung's way of addressing the issue is to direct you to the support page where they discuss the sound settings etc... That really does not give you a quality result to be happy with, in my opinion. I've had lesser phones and they all sounded better than my S22. I love everything else about the phone but music is one of the most important features and I wish they would address the problem through an update or something.

I thought that when it comes to sound quality most folks use Bluetooth so the speaker output of the phone really isn't all that important. (I know it is important though.) I'm disappointed that while streaming via Bluetooth I still have a lesser quality . If this Super Loud Speaker Booster can enhance my quality that would be HUGE!

@Jeffjazzy Very well put. Music is a very important part of my life.
Samsung just left us stuck on this one....
We all agree that the S22 Ultra phone speakers suck, the real kick below the belt is that Bluetooth audio quality is horrible as well, flat and lifeless.
And once again, Samsung just leaves us stuck. By now there should have been an update to fox this.

@Jeffjazzy YES!!!! Bluetooth sharply degrades audio on the S22 Ultra.
That would be a software update. C'mon Samsung! We spent our hard earned money on your products and you stuck it to us! Let's send our an update to fix these issues. It's Been months and we still have the problems.
......and don't even get me started on poor battery life.

I had a Note 20 ultra 512 before the S22 ultra and the sound quality on the note 20 far exceeded the 22 ultra. I have tried everything. Not sure if it is software or hardware. I also have trouble scrolling at times. Seems the phone hangs up. This could be my last Samsung.

@Andyinjesdup Ditto on "This could be my last Samsung "
I've literally bought every single Note, starting with the Note 3. I've had quite a few of the "S" series as well.
The thing that really infuriates me is that we're all dealing with abysmal battery life and sub-par sound and Samsung has done absolutely nothing with any sense of urgency to fix the problems.
I'm currently searching for a phone with a great screen, battery life and superior sound 《Asus ROG 6 Pro possibly 》, when I find a phone that meets all the criteria, I'll purchase it and say goodbye Samsung.
If Samsung would at least make us aware that they are working on fixes, I would remain a loyal customer, but they just do not appear to care at all.
I may as well carry around a charging brick and keep it plugged into the USB C port all day long. I have to top off the battery so often.
It used to be great listening to streaming audio music via Bluetooth in my SUV and RAM truck with previous Samsung phones, but this S22 Ultra just plain sucks. The sound is flat, dead, lifeless! Yuk!

Well all I can say is that I was very disappointed after connecting my Sony WF1000-XM4's to my new S22 Ultra 512 GB. I swapped to it from a Huawei P20 Pro. Now I don't want to talk about the speakers on the phone itself, but the audio on headphones. I know the headphones are powerful as hell, but it is the Samsung that does not let me get anything out of the headset. The bass is only deep until the safe volume limit which is like 60%? If I increase my volume anything above 60%, the high tones do increase while bass get's EVEN lower than it is at 60% volume. It does support LDAC, but so did the Huawei P20 pro which came out any years ago. LDAC's won't save Samsung's terrible audio quality. How come I could increase my volume on Huawei p20 pro without loosing any bass? There was maybe no bass difference between like 95% and 100% volume, but hell no that there is no bass increase between 60% and 100% volume, what is this? Anyone experienced the same? I cannot find a single thred abuout this on google anywhere.
