Good day everyone, I've adjusted the volume level for Notifications using the slider bar. I notice that this doesn't remain consistent as it tends to increase on its on volution. Any suggestions? Odd but Ringtone, Media and System remain where they were last set.

kind regards..

@Brad Chippior: Please can you try restarting the phone in Safe Mode, as this will disable all third party apps and help to determine if the problem is stemming from an external source. To enter Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release > Touch and hold Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release > To confirm, tap Safe mode.

Monitor the performance for a few hours, depending on the frequency of the notification volume adjustments. If you find that the volume remains stable then please restart the phone as you would normally and uninstall any third party apps that you've downloaded. Sadly it won't be possible to verify which app is at fault, so I recommend approaching this via process of elimination. Let me know how you get on.

That is odd @Brad Chippior

Mine remains as it's set.

Has this just started happening or been the case since day one of ownership ?

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

The phone is 2 months old. I've noticed this challenge since the beginning.

thanks

Great advice, I'd not given 3rd Apps any consideration. I have at least 10+

thanks

I have the same problem but it only started recently.  Notifications volume is muted but ONLY after coming out of sleep mode. I have numerous 3rd pty Apps, I don't have the time mess about with the suggestion above.

I can understand why my iPhone owning friends laughed at me buying a Samsung, they don't have any of the issues I've had with this.
