Anyone with notification sound issues?

Ever since I got my phone back from repair my notification sound and vibration in the settings menu is very intermittent so my messages notifications dont come through most times. My ringer and vibrate there is fine. I have checked everything I can- DND is off, bluetooth is off, individual app notification settings are all on, volume is high... even reset all settings except factory reset and only solved for a short time. Then after not doing after message sounds will come through. And then they don't again. I've used the *#0*# to go to testing mode and sounds and vibrate works. Any ideas? I even thought it might be a sound file that might be missing

No solution. Samsung only solution is to book a repair and see if the phone needs to go in. But I'm sure that's not the solution. Maybe a software issue? Or file? Or a setting somewhere that I've not covered. But nothing physically wrong as they do come through. Just not always

Similar problem with an A52s, sometimes it it'll play the notification alert other times it won't. Happening on Google Message app mostly, ring any bells?

Mines the generic settings>sounds and vibrations> notification sounds so this affects any incoming notifications sound. I've checked everything
