S22 ultra loss of mobile connectivity, calls and texts since One 6.1 update

Since installing the One 6.1 update a couple of weeks ago I only have mobile connectivity, calls and texts when I have full 5g available (5g symbol in a solid white box). At all other times, nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

This happened to my unit after the 6.0 update earlier this year( 5 months now ), and yes i bought the phone from a local actual samsung store and the unit has no prior issues, modifications or repair but when 6.0 was installed, i suddenly kept losing mobile signal all over. It just says emergency calls only with no signal bars, i switch the sim to another phone and get full bars and am able to call and access data.

Talked with the samsung tech and was told that it was a known issue since they had a lot of owners to sent their units for repair but that there is still a chance that another future update will break the phone again since the problem might be hardware compatibility with the s22 design itself. Also that the repair will have to be paid since the phone was out of warranty ( i bought the unit when i came out )

This is very concerning as the manufacturer samsung is the one who caused this and is refusing to own the problem and provide free repair for a flagship phone that they marketed as having support for the next 5 years when they launched. I've only seen these issues being discussed in forums here(but no samsung moderator has been replying to any of the threads) and in reddit where everybody was saying they got screwed because their phones needed to be repaired and samsung is basically saying either pay for the repair or get a new phone, nevermind that samsung was the one who broke it in the first place.

I am also having this issue, not just now but from the past one year. Every third day, I have to check whether my network is working or not by calling my number from another phone. I have to switch into flight mode OFF and ON if not working.
I was always a samsung user, but sadly, I am thinking of switching to the iPhone. 😥

I have had issues with my Samsung galaxy s22 ultra for quite some time, I've had them come do a door step repair but couldn't find anything wrong, I was told to do a factory reset before they came but caused me problems further after the visit and the technician who came said only needed to put in maintenance mode, several software updates later signal issues on my network 02, had 3 sim cards from new , loss of full signal, 02 said it's a Samsung issue but Samsung says 02, my latest response was they said Google Chrome causing issues, it started overheating and warm/hot to touch, still not holding my breath moving forward, my contract for this handset is up march 2025 , I'm not paying for a repair because 02 said Samsung have several issues in relation to this but not doing anything about it, I can't afford to send it off as need my phone, my partner has same handset no issues, so some of these phones are faulty in some way , I've done everything Samsung have suggested, still happening
