After updating to one ui 6.0, S22 ultra may face the keeping restarting problem as mine did. My solution is that: Find the "about the phone" in the last of settings. Click "software status". Then find "Google play system update" to update Google play to the newest version. I guess the old google play service caused the crash.

I was postponing system update for about a week or two and I finally let it do its thing yesterday. Today I got my S22 Ultra system crashed and stuck in the bootloop. I tried everything, including the freezer, and it seemingly helped me to get the system at least loaded. But then either after some time or right after unblocking the phone on system startup it was rebooting into bootloop again.

I didn't give up as I had a gut feeling that it cannot be a hardware issue, and after multiple attempts I got it loaded in safe mode, I tried turning off WiFi and BT, activating airplane mode, etc. But then it was bootlooping again either on its own or after I rebooted it manually to check if any of my attempts fixed it.

Then I tried to install "Google play system update" like suggested in this thread in the pinned message. But it requires a reboot and the phone was getting into the bootloop every time I tried to install it and it got never finished installing.

Then I realized that freezer is not such an important variable in my struggles and it is just a matter of chance and I just let the phone reboot itslef without me touching it as many times as it needed to boot the system up. Then during one of the successfull boots without safe mode I made sure all the apps are closed and I let the phone to lie down and chill for 30 minutes aor an hour. I was also charging it during this chill time. I've seen some crash report from Samsung Health and I uninstalled it right away. Then I tried to see if any of my apps are working well at all by starting them one by one. I went through my most used apps like messengers and banking and I discovered that most of them were starting fine but Signal app did not load at all or it opened and I could not open any chat in it. Or when I long tapped on it in the app list to open its properties it crashed One UI or Home interface. That was it. I uninstalled the Signal and the problem was gone - I could restart the phone as many times as I wanted and it was booting up just fine every time.

I installed Signal app again and logged into my Signal account and both Signal and the System are working just fine since then.

I even was able to install "Google play system update" and reboot absolutely normally after it.

I manually rebooted a few more times since then and the issue is resolved for sure.

I have no idea how Signal could affect anything on such early stages of booting up but it definitely did and it was responsible for it.

I didn't dig too deep after fixing it but I've seen the explanation that some app can create a corrupted memory segment and crash system when interacted with.

I'm not claiming that it must be Signal in your case too, but there may be an app that's causing it on your phone. It's worth trying to track it down and reinstall.

Same here. S22Ultra just started bootlooping yesterday. Freezer trick worked for about a minute, then would lock up and reboot again.

Hello,

My Samsung S22 Ultra started this morning to  reload.

I tried the below tips and tricks presented here.

What worked for the moment was :

1- boot in recovery mode and wipe cache partition.

2- Perform a software update.

3- Enter in Airplane mode and find the app that was causing the crash. For me, it was Jerry's Pizza.

It was trying to download and then the phone was restarting.

4-Uninstall Jerry's Pizza app, then update Google Play.

5-boot in safe mode.

For some time it was stable ( matter of hours).

Then the issue happened again.

I contacted Samsung which told me pretty much the same steps to follow.

I followed again the steps without any success.

I noticed that the device is turning on and off the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without any reason.

Most of the times when it turns off the Wi-Fi, it restarts.

Sometimes it is recovering after one restart, sometimes it is going in a restart loop.

At some point is recovering.

I don't have any ideas to try. I will check with service to find a cause for this.

Unfortunately I don't have warranty anymore, and I had a bad luck so I had to replace my screen and battery 3 moths ago, which cost me pretty much.

Samsung told me that  the repair  should be supported by me.

I hope you guys find a better solution for this.

And how do you get into safe mode if the phone is boot looping? Sounds like you had a less severe problem.

I tried this fix on my S22+ and it worked. Baffled as to why, but it did for me. Samsung UK were useless.

Hi, Could you please specify which version of firmware was installed? Version | Security Patch | Build Date. That would be really helpful for me to follow the same and try it out. Hoping for a faster reply from you. Currently My device is in restart loop from past 2 days.
