S22 Ultra - Frozen Lock screen

New s22 ultra delivered 25th Feb . All set up but experienced an issue with frozen lock screen. Had to hold down to power off but no warning of powering off.  Not done it since but slightly worrying.

So it froze again. For 40 seconds. Made an error report of it. 2 minutes later it froze again. This time after half a minute the whole screen went black. After another 90 sec of no response to any button I decided to hold the power button. The phone fully crashed, and rebooted. After the reboot the phone was pretty laggy for 30 seconds before it went back to normal. The mod definitely did not work and evens seems to have made it worse. Gonna upload another crash report now...

Hey guys!

I just got my pre-ordered S22 Ultra 12/512GB... and after 3 days use, I encountered this lock screen-freezing-issue. To be honest, I changed my Note 20 Ultra for this one, but I think that was a really bad idea. My N20U was really stable, never froze in 2 years, and then seeing this one doing it after 3 days, just gives me very bad user experience... next time I really have to think it through if I should buy an iPhone instead...

PS. I installed the latest update, but it didn't solve this issue.

Same problem. Starting to become more frequent. crashing a few times a day now... I'm so dissapointed.

Same here, ever since release whenever i open my phone from standby the screen freezes with finger print scan showing halfway, Starting to think the problem might be in the fingerprint animation.

I've not had a problem now for some while since posting the problem a few weeks back Boosted memory to 8 on ram. We will see

About 2 weeks ago, I updated the phone to the last firmware and after that I wiped the cache partition. The freeze appeared 24 hours later, but it was the last time. About the RAM Plus I have 4GB.

8GB since mentioned in here to increase and still doing it. Sent 2 error reports now

I have daily a frozen lock screen, also I found mine just freezes, with screen and power button not working. I left it for 40mins and checked later issue doesn't go, only way for me was to go to download mode to restart the phone. 

As I was typing this I had lag issue.

Also found I sometimes can't receive calls on some social media apps.

Got my s22u 512 about a week ago and the lockscreen froze 4 times already. Couldn't unblock on do anything for about a minute. Disappointing with a £1300 "flagship" phone.. 

Don't want to get in an emergency situation with this phone..
