S22 Ultra Exynos Battery Life

The (inevitable) comments on poor battery life seem to have calmed down. Is it just me or is the latest firmware actually quite good? I am getting far better battery life than with my old S21 Ultra. The difference is a lot more than could be explained by the old phone having a year old battery. Note that I don't play games so I have no idea how the new GPU performs.

I've noticed the battery life is better since the update, like yourself I don't play games. I used to go to bed with around 30% left since the update I'm ending the day with 45%. I use the phone for roughly the same tasks daily.

I get about 6 hours SOT which tends to see me through most of the day...

Not as good as my poco x3 Pro with similar size screen and battery but the s22u is considerably more powerful.

I do wish Samsung could copy Apples homework and get us some of that 13 pro max battery life...

I suppose it depends what your doing but I get well over 6 hours screen on time on S22 Ultra, I don't play games.

I would of thought the S22 Ultra battery would be better than my 2 year old S20 ultra ?? I could not cope with 6 hours of SOT to be honest as my S20 Ultra gets well over 9 hours SOT .. both your pictures show that the (screen off time) has been off more than on ( screen on time) compared to mine too in your pictures.. which for the S22 ultra is not good at all . So it looks like 6 hours ish of SOT if you don't use the phone that much ( Screen on time ) on the S22 ultra which in my opinion is rubbish

my S20 Ultra battery performance in one day I don't get that every day.. But on average I get over 9h + SOT per day
