S22 Ultra CSC issue - Can't use Samsung pay because the device is locked to EUX

Can't use Samsung pay because the device is locked to EUX and the application thinks the device is in Germany because of it.

Reboots don't work, putting sim back in etc don't work. 
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Will there be a fix for it?

Ah so an exchange wouldn't necessarily be needed for every device with the issue, but in my case it is being done more to help you guys can get to the bottom of the issue and allow you to investigate directly with an affected device

I have a similar problem on my Z Flip 3. I am German, I live in Germany, I bought my phone branding free from a German retailer and everything is working fine, except Samsung Pay. I have the "EUX/-/EUX/EUX" CSC, Samsung Pay won't show up in the Galaxy App Store but i installed it without any problems through Google Play. When I open it, it checks for availability and comes back with the Error that Samsung Pay isn't available on this Device. I pre-ordered the Z Flip and I'm stuck on this Problem since Day one. Had a long conversation with Pay Support an the general Samsung Support without a Fix, they let me reset the Device a couple times. They collected all the Data like IMEI and Serial number and promised to call me back. Still waiting. I will give them a call tomorrow and ask if they know something new. On my previous Phone, a Galaxy S10e Samsung Pay worked like a charm. It is also working on my Galaxy Watch 4 that I recently got.

You have the exact same problem as me, it must be a bug which locks your devices software upon first setup to these values. Apparently it can be caused if you don't have a sim in the device upon first launch

Hey @SachikoT @Sam_UK just curious if there is a further update. I don't mean to be impatient but I don't want to go over my period of time to be able to return the device to EE is all (if we don't manage to get it sorted)
