S22 ultra Crashing and restarting

Hi everyone,

For the last two weeks, my S22 Ultra has been crashing at random times and keeps on restarting automatically. Yeah the S22 Ultra is the Exynos version.  It happens when I try to open even Youtube. I have turned off the Auto restart setting as well. After going through the initial Samsung logo, it restarts for like 5 to 6 times (or even more sometimes), then the One UI apps optimizing opens up and the restart completes. But this crashing happens randomly. I tried clearing the cache memory, but that did not help. Finally, I did the factory reset. Still, the problem persists.

Has anybody got the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? Is my ultimate solution to visit Samsung Care Centre?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Sudip

Hey, thanks for coming back with an update. Since I sent my know in to Samsung where they replaced the motherboard i haven't had any issues. They said they updated it to the latest software when they sent it back but it was the version before the initial one causing everyone's phones to mess up. I reckon the update actually caused on of the motherboard resisters to change variables and fried so when the processor is doing a lot of work it actually overloads and shuts down... I dont think there is a software update to fix this issue which was caused by software in the first place as it feels like physical damage was caused. Maybe worth checking it out. My phone has been fine since receiving it back.

I appreciate the update and that does make a lot of sense.

As I can feel my phone overheating slightly and then guess what happens it crashes.

Just received an update from my Error reports that I submitted:

After analysing your error logs, we can see these crashes and restarts are being caused by a hardware issue, rather than software. If you reach out to us through Text Chat (Samsung Members > Support > Text Chat) or give us a call on 0333 000 0333, one of our agents will be able to look into your repair options with you.

So I guess I need to book in a service repair, which like many others have said is the only way for a fix

Early days but I have this issue sporadically when Bluetooth is on, yet to crash with Bluetooth off. Far from ideal, but if this is the issue then surely this can be patched. Anyone else tried running with Bluetooth off?

I have tried it with BT and WIFI both turned off..... got to the stage that the WIFI and BT kept turning off on their own......my S22 Ultra is now chucked in the back of a drawer....bought myself a different branded mobile phone.....will never go back to Samsung again.....

This is also happening to my S22+ all of a sudden since last month. It will restart multiple times a day, sometimes getting stuck in a deathloop of constant restarts.

The phone is almost unusable now, probably the worst phone I have ever purchased and will definitely not be going near Samsung again.

My S22 Ultra 512Gb just started randomly rebooting, stuck in a boot loop for over 15mins.

Is there a cure????

what I have gleaned from on the web is that a new Motherboard is the only fix for this problem....a problem that is happening to Samsung Flagship phones and they as a company are saying and doing nothing to help their user base.....disgraceful for a large company to treat their users in such a fashion..... there is clearly some kind of hardware component and or software issue that is causing £1000+ handsets to go tits up for no apparent reason......

Honestly, that is absolutely ridiculous given the stupidly high prices.

How are Samsung not being held to account to repair this? My S22+ is barely useable anymore, its less than 3 years old and was told its out of warranty for free repair.

As much as I dislike the iPhone, I may finally make the jump as the quality of Samsung stuff has plummeted over the past few years.
