S22 ultra Crashing and restarting

Hi everyone,

For the last two weeks, my S22 Ultra has been crashing at random times and keeps on restarting automatically. Yeah the S22 Ultra is the Exynos version.  It happens when I try to open even Youtube. I have turned off the Auto restart setting as well. After going through the initial Samsung logo, it restarts for like 5 to 6 times (or even more sometimes), then the One UI apps optimizing opens up and the restart completes. But this crashing happens randomly. I tried clearing the cache memory, but that did not help. Finally, I did the factory reset. Still, the problem persists. 

Has anybody got the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? Is my ultimate solution to visit Samsung Care Centre?

A June software update has been released, hopefully it addresses the issues we've all been facing with the previous software.

I read someone post stating that it's fixed 59 bugs and 1 being a critical bug.

Well ive installed the new software so far, carried out initial tests which would normally trigger my phone to crash, and so far it's holding up.

Will continue to monitor and feedback.

Hopefully this is the fix we've all been waiting for!!!

that would be good news providing the user can get the phone working to download and install the June update.....I get to the setup screen and BAM.... back to rebooting..... 😞

Oh I see, so yours constantly goes into a boot loop and never gets you to your home screen?

I did have occurrences where my phone would be in a boot loop constantly for 10 minutes but then I'd get periods of time where the phone would behave, so after my phone crashed and went into a boot loop, I quickly checked for the software update and just let my phone focus on that with the WiFi disabled as that was causing my phone to instantly crash.

Do hope you manage to get the software downloaded and installed!

ahhh righto.....I suppose I could try smart switch from the PC if and when I get that far......

Give it a shot, but the phone (I believe) will need to be on for the SmartSwitch to detect it and push the update to it.

If it doesn't work, I would suggest speaking to Samsung support teams they can maybe guide you in doing it in safe mode or through the service repair

has taken an age... but I managed to get the latest update installed (May 1st security patch), no June patch at all..... sad to say that the phone is still overheating and constantly rebooting.... time to chuck this heap of ***** in a drawer and buy a decent phone with decent hardware...... to think this device cost over 1k two years ago..... this is now the third Samsung mobile device I have had issues with....... brand loyalty counts for nothing these days..... 3 strikes and am outta here.....I do hope the others can get their handsets sorted.....

Hmmmm it may get released a bit later for your model version??

As I did have a may release which was the 6.1 and now a June patch

Update: My phone just crashed 😂 did a bit of a boot loop for 2 mins, still overheats due to the crashes
