S22 Ultra battery not fit for purpose, at what point do I contact Samsung?

Phone not fit for purpose, 4 hours max SoT doing normal everyday stuff, Google maps, calls, whatsapp calls etc, dies in 10 to 12 hour. Office between 7am to 12pm on 4g, 12pm to 6pm at home office on WiFi, and usually the battery is less than 20% from a full charge.

I've had it a month, everything should have settled in, i use a official Samsung charger and cable, all non needed apps in deep sleep etc, no stray apps taking up battery.

No smart switch used, set up fresh, updated to July security update, cache cleared etc 

I use the phone for my business, I've now stopped making calls on it or texting as that would mean it was dead by 3pm - I've had to go back to a VoIP landline handset, like wtf.

Need WhatsApp business / browser, Reddit and maps to run my business..

Turn adaptive power off. It drains the battery fast lol👍🔋

Hiya mate, thanks for the reply, I think Google was using up battery as I was on Google play store and downloading some apps, anyway, I reset the device a 5 days ago and only installed WhatsApp business, made no other changes to the system and just allowed it to learn my usage - during the past 5 days, I would get on average about 3 hours SoT over 20ish hours on WiFi only, it has been Eid so not really touched the phone at all, yesterday after it learnt the usage I installed a few more apps and turn off background scanning etc and put a handful of apps I had downloaded into deep sleep, I made WhatsApp video calls, WhatsApp calls and sent text, used it for about 5 hours and had to charge it twice, once to 100% and then again at 6pm to 50% and it was again dead by 11pm. From what I've read online I believe the device is optimised for media consumption i.e. 8 hours of YouTube straight but not using it as a actual communication device.

I've had accu battery installed, noting abnormal in the background

I was unable to use it in safe mode as it disabled WhatsApp business

How do you turn off or disable Google play services? It's taken 10% battery today, the charge is down to 49% with about 2 hours of SoT, I've tried clearing the cache, resetting, forcing stop etc

It's been like that so since the may update

I am using adaptive power saving.

App permissions check and disable location access for apps which don't need it.
Same with background data

Unfortunately I do need location for apps like maps and smarthings.

But most others have been blocked.

Still uses around 2 -4 %.

July update still not fixed it.

Thanks mate.

I've done all the power saving tricks, background scanning off for Bluetooth and WiFi, no background data, disabled background data for the all the apps apart from WhatsApp etc I've literally just made phone calls today and this evening had a 2 hour WhatsApp video call, it's been charged to 150% total today since 7am this morning. Location also denied other than maps, which is only allowed when in use.

I think Google play services is taking up loads of battery because I've tirn of auto sync so it might be trying to synch constantly
