S22 speakerphone coming on by itself during call

As title, when I'm on a call the Samsung s22 Ultra turns the loud speaker on whilst I'm on a normal call all by itself, anyone else have this issue?

I have the same problem on my s21ultra over 3months on every call . It's very annoying and it hurt your ears. If it doesn't get fixed I'll never buy galaxy again.

I'm having the same issues with me S22 Ultra also.  Any ideas?

I cleared the phone app data and restarted the device. Go to settings, apps, Phone and clear what you can clear. Then restart. Worked for me ....

I did try the above and thought it had worked but it just came back, it's a bit less now but still does happen

My wife and I both have the Samsung s22 ultra,  and we are both experiencing this problem. My wife more so than me. Sounds like there is a bug somewhere if so many people are having the same problem.

Facing same issue from the purchase of the phone

This is happening constantly and is incredibly frustrating to say the least.  I can now only makes calls on speakerphone which isn't exactly private.  Every time I hold the phone to my head the speaker phone comes on mid-call and it's LOUD.  I turn it off and then it comes right back on.  I cannot find any fixes online.  Just a bunch of people with the same issue.  Hopefully they'll do an update soon that will fix it.

How do you "clear what you can clear?"  I'm in the settings under phone and I don't have an option to clear cache or data or anything similar?

Well, no - it's not odd if lots of people are having the same problem
