I recently noticed a slight bulge on the back of my s22, and i decided to change the battery myself. It seemed succesful for an hour, after which the screen suddenly went black with green streaks apearing and flickering horizontally.
The battery change process
While attempting to change the battery i started by only disconnecting the flex cables at the main board and bending them back slightly. That was unsuccesful, so i removed the loudspeaker and fully removed the cables. I scrubbed off the glue left by the battery, planted the new one and reassembled the phone. I used b-7000 glue to seal the phone and squezed it between two blocks of wood for 6 hours.
I started using it, and it worked as expected, but after 1+ hours of use the touchscreen began doing weird things. Five minutes later the screen went black with horizontal green flickering lines and no touch worked.
The rest of the phone still functions normally, since i can feel vibrations and hear sounds as i normally would.
I have tried to fix the screen (to no avail) by:
What could be wrong with my phone? Could the flex cable be damaged or do i need a new screen?

After lying on lying on my desk for a day things have gotten better.
Now, instead of black screen with flickering black lines and no touch control, the screen first got functional, just tinted green with a few flickering lines, and a few minutes later it went completely back to normal.
It keeps switching between these two states
