S22 green line after OneUI 6.1

So I recently updated my s22 to oneUI 6.1 and like a week later a green line came on the screen, it kinda got darker the more I used it and at first it was only on pixels that were turned on (not visible on always on display) about a week ago I did another firmware update and this time the green line became permanent and was persistent even in the always on display. couple days ago another green line appeared and disappeared. 

I reset the phone today but the first line is still there. 

since I haven't dropped the phone or done anything that could cause physical damage, I am sure that this should be a software related issue. if so, is there a way to fix it?

Unfortunately this sounds more like a "dead pixel" issue. This may have to do with screen itself rather than the software. I would encourage you to try the diagnostic tool and/or approach the service team.

I too have downloaded the 6.1 update but the phone seems to have hanged or stuck and I am unable operate the phone.
