S22 Exynos Battery Drain on WiFi

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with WiFi on S22 . When the phone is idle and connected to WiFi it can't switch to "deep sleep" mode and battery drains much faster then when on 4G. 

Is this a known bug ? Does Samsung is working on a fix ? I need to keep the WiFi turned off currently to reduce the idle battery drain, which is pretty annoying. According to multiple threads on Reddit and other sources online I'm not the only one with this issue

I have same problem, both S22 units has this wifi bug. I think all have the bug, that why so many have poor battery life

To build onto this request/ticket/issue, I am also facing battery issues with my base model S22 (currently on build S901BXXU1AVC6.

More tests. 2.4 or 5 GHz, different access-points, wifi on, but not connected: all gives no deep sleep. 

Edit: i think i will send the S22's back, seems a serious flaw and totally unacceptable for an device this expensive.  Do samung have an tech desk that can answer q?, the local "chats" here has totally noobs as staff

I have the same problem. S22 Exynos.

CPU is on 100% utilization on wifi.

Im loosing 20-40% of battery in night.

I've spend few hours today writing to different Samsung support centers from all around the world and every time I asked if Samsung knows about this issue they told me that they don't register the issue. They also told me to register the bug on Samsung members so PLEASE, everybody:


Register this bug to Samsung members so Samsung start dealing with it ASAP.

Samsung support wrote:
"If you tried the reinstalling, clear cache, and did not work, Kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.

And you will receive a response as soon as possible from their side."

I already did but i haven't heard anything back yet.

 

And yes please fill out an error report if you haven't yet, that will make them take this more serious.

I can confirm that the S22 will never sleep CPU or Kernel when the screen is off. Mine does goes into Doze mode but never stops the CPU or the Kernel which causes an unreasonably high battery drain

No not really. Im just hopping they fix it soon.

Buying a €900 phone and having this bad battery life is absurd.
