My storage is fast running out (94% used) and the main culprit is the "other" folder, taking up over 80gb of space.
I don't use much space for photos, media etc.
I could access this on my S20 and could clear out a lot of temp files etc but with my S22 ultra, I can't get access.
I've tried various file manager apps but nothing seems to help.

Anyone else have this issue or know a solution?

Thanks.

There is also a Samsung App "My File's" which does the same and connects to Google 1 and Google Drive where I store all my data. Very little on my phone at all. My phone is automatically backed up after any changes to the data during the day or overnight if not.

@Yodaisdead In my opinion Resetting to factory values is best in this case. Prepare a copy of the personal data, before proceeding. Greeting

Yeah, I've wasted too much time trying to figure it out. Probably best

@Yodaisdead: The Other section relates to application data. Please can you try heading to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage. If you can see an 'i' symbol to the right of the Apps section, then please tap on it and select Settings from the pop up at the bottom of the screen > Allow usage tracking, and toggle this option on. This should now assign the information to the Apps section of Storage, allowing you to get a proper overview of which apps are using the most storage.

I was also search for this answer. Nothing posted here helped, however it got me thinking...

I went into Settings - Apps and began to see if I could find any apps taking up a tonne of space. I found that Telegram keeps videos/images FOREVER by default. I changed it to 1 week and cleared the cache and voila! Problem solved.
