I received my Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB, Exynos version, over a week before official release date. As I was using the phone I discovered several bugs with my unit, screen blackouts, occasionaly freezes, conversations loosing sound, phon not reachable over GSM network even if my signals was good. I decided to wait until official release date to see if new software would be released. On the 25th Samsung released new firmware for my phone, and I did a complet factory reset after new firmware was installed. I am now on firmware S908BXXU1AVBF and fresh phone setup.
My screen problems seems to be gone, but GSM network issues are still there. Several times I have been made aware of that my phone can not be reached by callers, even if phone is showing signals. Solution, reboot. Turning on and off flightmode did not help. Also I am experiencing sound dropouts during calls, call is not droped but sound oth ways are lost, duration 10 - 15 seconds. Also when making a call the phone uses much longer time to set up the call than other phones I have had. Calling my self from other phones give simular results, setting up phone calles to my Galaxy S22 Ultra take much longer then calling others.
Have been in contact with Samsung support, but there is no help to get there. Try this, try that, over and over again. I am starting to loose my patients now, and its impossible for me to have a phone I dont know if I can be reached at, and when I manage to set up a call, sound is lost several times during the call.

Where to begin....
Problem list:
1. GSM problems, people on the other end say I'm breaking up, or sound like a robot. This doesn't happen every time but often. And sometimes the call just drops out, for a few seconds or completely.
2.The lock screen freeze. For 30sec then I can try to unlock again. Or it restarts.
3. After the "update" the first few seconds into a youtube short, Instagram reel, tiktok or snapchat story it freeze. And I get a sound lag. When this happens all videos have a sound lag.
4.Sometimes when im browsing the Web the phone freeze and I get a error. UI NOT RESPONDING.
5. Sometimes the phone don't play notifications sounds...

Still not fixed after April update. So very very upset. This is the worst phone at being a phone. Calls drop randomly take forever to start. WTF is going on with this phone

I have the same issue with S22 plus exynos version. Its a hardware issue the phone does not remain latched to network, the caller receivces the message as phone not reachable when phone is literally in my hand.
when i try to call anyone it a takes hell lot to time to connect.
4g and 5g network drops
replacment will not solve this issue, I am having my phone returned today. and trying to reach the trade in if they can return my phone
What a shame for such a higly priced phone.
customer support is next to useless trying to let do stuff that most user very familiar with.

Dont judge to quickly. The calling problems goes on all 3 type of devices of S22 series. I have S22+ , and many users here incl myself post same issues with their ultra or Vanilla devices. Its higly doubtfull that Samsung would make defective devices all 3 of em. they do many tests before sending the phone to the stores. Next firmware updates will probably fix this issues. android 12 is tricky Bi...tch. Just wait a little bit more. I have been told on Ram 2 servis here, that calling issues will be resolved in middle of the april with the update.

I had the same problem.
It solved by the activation of VoLTE from my provider.
