The phone is water resistant not water proof so if liquid had been spilt on the phone then it's possible the liquid may have got inside.
Samsungs Manufacturing Warranty wouldn't cover water damage.
Leave the phone Off and leave it in a warm place such as an airing cupboard to give it time to fully dry out.
A Samsung Service Centre still can take a look at the phone.
