Everything was fine till yesterday night, after the most recent Android update, I noticed a marked overheating with a very slow charging with the 45W charger, a super fast charging 2.0 is displayed but with no estimated time till the full charge

when I switched to the 25W charger, the extra heat disappeared and the super fast charging was doing fine.

Hi @DrAhmedMaher

My phone is on the new September update and I use wireless charging and have both the two Samsung chargers you mention, and find no similar issues so I'm not sure what's happening with yours.

😔

When you say overheating what temperature is the phone reaching ?

Is the phone showing a pop up saying it's overheating ?

Would you mind trying a few troubleshooting guides such as  >

Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

And if necessary a factory reset after backing up.

The phone has a diagnostic tool in the Samsung Members App.

A Samsung Service Centre can also take a look.

I wish you all the best. Take care.  😎
