Hey all,

Anyone else's s22 ultra freezes when you unlock the phone? Takes a lot of time before you can actually open an app or do something, even comes to a point where you swipe back or swipe up to try and get out of it.

Noticed this since the recent update, never happened before and is now jus getting on my nerves. I hope it's a bug and not my phone.

Did you clear system cache and run App Booster?

If you mean device care, it's run daily, so that should not be an issue, unless you mean clearing the cache by turning off the phone and powering on with the voulme up key?

Also never used the boost app, I mean I have a s22 ultra, how can this hardware not be good enough to unlock the phone smoothly everytime.

Yes, I do mean clearing system cache because it removes useless and corrupt files that can build up after an update. It's this that affects the phone's performance.
It's the first thing that should be done after an update.
Let us know if it makes a difference.

Check for app updates in both stores and restart your phone.

And this is what happens when people want the monthly updates pushed out on time. You get a wonderful new coaster (bricked) or buggy software.

No clearing the phone cache (Google how to do this or check forums here) device care does nothing j the complexity of Android is amazingly hard to perfect even Apple get it wrong with only 1 make of phone and one OS where android has lots of different OS for each manufacturer. It's why rushing out a update just to please people is never a good idea. Clearing cache may help but it may also be other 3rd party app from PlayStore or App store causing problems but try clearing cache I Alway's do after each update. There's other things clearing cache may effect but I'm not going into that here.

Will you butt out of this thread with your unhelpful comments? Yes, there are some devices that need repair, this is not the case here.
