Hi everyone. I've noticed since upgrading to oneui 5 my s22 ultras screen on time has went down significantly. I used to get around 6 or maybe 7 hours and now I recently got just over 3.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue ? And do you think maybe after a week or 2 it should go back to normal? This does worry me

Thanks
Amir.

As far as I can tell my battery 🔋 usage time's have remained on par with the previous software on my phone @Amir2099

I updated Monday.

The phone would need a short time to index i.e settle after the update.

I wouldn't think 2 weeks but more a day or so.

Look in your Device Care section under battery to see what's using your battery and if there is an app showing considerable battery % usage then try clearing it's cache and or look for any available updates / let the developer know.

Run the optimisation tool.

You could also try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

If I clear partition, would rebooting the device erase all my data and apps?

No, clearing cache, as done on the link, leaves all other data intact
