Samsung delinerately pushes faulty updates to drain battery? I had this issue with previous Samsung phone and my S22 Ultra as well. My perfectly fine working S22 got update and then my battery performance went down immediately from 30 hrs to 10hrs.

Is this your strategy to sell new phones?  Don's say new apps and other stuff , its intentional planning.

Thats the only justification with so many users suffering from sudden drain.

The flaw to this argument is that new flagship owners have also complained about battery life.

It's more likely that new software is not fully optimised and was maybe pushed too early to some devices, that and new features (such as AI) will cause higher battery use.

The trend seems to be that there's increased pressure for manufacturers to update older devices and people seem more impatient for this to happen, you can read everywhere people asking if their device is getting this feature or this updated UI and getting annoyed if it's late.

I personally wish manufacturers would concentrate more on stability and battery life than pushing updates, but having said that there's many variables when it comes to battery use that can't possibly be addressed by any update

Thanks , Assuming your argument is even partly right , hence i am more convinced its time to switch away from samsung to Apple coz samsung has obviously low software quality standards which will comrpomise the security of phone too.

Having the same issue with my S22 Ultra after it updated to UI 6.1 last night.

Same, after the latest update the S22 Ultra battery drains much quicker, even when all apps are turned off and the phone is not being used.

Last night the battery was 99% when I went to bed and this morning was 86%. That after I even turned off internet, data and location!

@Samsung...do something about this, pls. I love the brand, bit this is quite the headache!
