No WiFi calling option on S22 Ultra Vodafone

Just switched to S22 Ultra from Note 10 plus 5g. Since the switch I have no WiFi calling option in my phone settings. Vodafone UK showed steps to activate it from their side which I did and got confirmation message as well. But still no option to turn it on from the phone settings.

Anyone has solution for this? Any help would be appreciated.

in the same situation as you, settings turned on but wifi calling icon doesn't show up so looks like I'm still on mobile (which barely has 1 bar)

to anyone else having issues with no wifi option available on vodafone, this is what I did.

• get wifi calling provisioned by vodafone
• turn on airplane mode
• turn on wifi

boom the wifi calling quick setting and the in dialer setting becomes available. My issue now is despite this being turned on this is not showing on the notification bar and it looks as if the phone it's still connected to the 'mobile' network for calls which for me would mean dropped/missed calls

thats why i want to know when its on i dont want to be in flight mode my signal is low in the flat.. on my s21 ultra Wifi calling icon was there all the time plus i got an IMS message on the screen saying wifi call is active vodafone dont seem to understand this iv had 3 phone calls and 3 times on chat just said they didnt know iv evenn tried on the vodafone forum and someone on there said there icon is there all the time on s22 ultra

from all the sources it looks like the only way to force the phone to connect to wifi calling is to turn on air-plane mode with wifi on. It's a shame since I can see myself forgetting to either turn this on while at home or off while out and about

i know im the same have not done just wish it was like the s21 ultra on all the time hopefully it will change with an update i did noticed on the s21u if it was on i didnt get charged for picture messages but now i do

Rather than spending hours on the phone 191 a direct chat to tech is so easy. They said they will send something to my phone and to restart the device after 60 mins and the on/off link should be there

good luck i tried this and was told wait 24 hours 3 phone calls and it was on but doent show the icon unless the signal is low its not on all the time like my s21 ultra which i thought it would be

They will send provisioning message, which you won't get a notification about - totally silent. 

Simply keep putting phone on flightmode and go to dialer, settings and see if the WiFi calling appears. 

If not, put back onto network. 

It will be greyed out when it appears.

Once it appears, restart phone and you'll be able to switch on option (flightmode not needed) 

That's just to see if option has appeared

Keep putting phone on flight mode, dialer, settings and see if WiFi option appears.

It will be greyed out.

Once it appears, restart phone, network on and you should be able to toggle WiFi calling on 👍
