No option for phone recorder? SG22U (UK)

I've been trying to enable the native phone call recorder but there isn't an option to do so within the phone app. Was this feature removed?

@Casavult @Flintstone: Samsung mobile devices do not contain a native call recording feature, and I don't have any news to share about this option being introduced in any future products or updates. All I can suggest is checking the Google Play Store for any third party apps that meet your requirements, making sure to refer to the download figures and user reviews to help you make an informed choice.

I've never had phone recorder on any my Samsung phones. Yet I keep hearing about them having it and even seen posts online how to enable it but I never see the setting for it. And I'm angry that Google is going to block all recording apps from 1st may. I rely on acr phone at moment. But now Google is blocking all. Apps "except native recording"... And I've scammed by people before. They record their side and edit out their promises. And if everyone can record me. Why can't I record them? It's legal to!

3rd party apps will be blocked by Google from 1st may I've heard. The news articles that say this also tell you "but if you own a hewui or a Samsung one ui 4 or higher they use native recording they won't be blocked".. But I'm yet to ever see this setting

I'm almost certain my SG20+ had this feature as my brother in law used it before he handed me it and he was on OneUI 3.x before I had it but I never needed to use it then. Things have changed since then and I require it now.

I'm not sure if this is a UK (EU?) issue though as like I've said, my brother in law, supposedly, had the feature on his SG20+ before he handed it to me.

I've had the s20+ for past 2 years and not noticed it as I had to use acr phone to record calls as was only one to work. So seems to be blocked in uk variants (if I assume the one your brother in law handed to you was not Orginally UK Samsung etc.

Hmm, maybe he was wrong then. Whatever the issue or problem is, we need definitive answers from Samsung directly regarding this.

We spend a lot of money on these devices to not have features removed/hidden from us... I know it wasn't advertised but the fact some people can enable this feature and we cannot is a bit of a letdown.

Laws in certain countries do not allow the call recording feature. So no matter how much money you pay for your device, if the law does not permit it, you won't have it. I'm unsure whether the UK is one of those having this law.
