Hi,
I've been using my S22 exynos for about 2 weeks now and the UI seems a bit choppy and not smooth. My old phone is an OnePlus 8 Pro which is very smooth and cold whatever you do.
My S22 lags a bit in UI, chrome and everything else. When I play games I get really inconsistent performance and the phone gets very hot. Doesn't matter if I use Game Booster Plus to lower graphics quality and fps, it's still choppy and still get equally hot for some reason.
Will these issues get resolved in updates or is it just to accept that this phone model is bad and return it?
By the way my phone is running S901BXXU1AVDA software and I've done a complete factory reset after installing it.

It's a conundrum as to why different owners of the Exynos variant of the s²²Ultra are experiencing different experiences with their phones.
Mine which was direct from Samsung UK has been fine from out of the box and I'm on the 3rd April update awaiting the May update @Ztah
I don't game on my phone.
I would suggest to any owners experiencing issues that haven't been resolved by clearing the phone's cache partition files , safe mode or a factory reset should ensure the phone is on the latest version of the software and that apps in the Playstore and Galaxy Store are updated and send feedback and any relevant error reports to Samsung via their Samsung Members App under the GetHelp section.
Some using Samsung Goodlock have experienced issues.
And some that have used Samsung Smartswitch have also encountered issues.
In the recovery section as well as the option to clear system files cache and other options there is also the option to repair apps.
Android is open sourced with Samsung adding their Samsung One Ui on top so the user experiences will be different on different manufacturers of phone's that also use the Android platform.
With Android being open sourced and vastly customisationable there are many variables to consider.
The important thing is to keep feedback to Samsung constant so hopefully they can send out patches to further improve and enhance whats happening.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

This is a normal S22 exynos, not ultra.
I've updated everything in both Play Store, Galaxy Store and software update menu and tried the clear cache partition + repair apps. Nothing really matters except a factory reset which only seem to work for a day or two.
I haven't used neither Goodlock or SmartSwitch apps on this phone at all. I did a clean install.
I'm kind of dissapointed with this phone. It works a day or two flawlessly then it doesn't. I don't think a phone for this price should have these problems.
My wifes S21 exynos seems much more stable and smooth. Not as hot neither.
Going to send some error reports to Samsung.

Hi, I've tried and it doesn't help. Thanks for the tip though!

I haven't had any of these problems with my older S3, S5, S7 or S9. Or any other brand.
For about 2 weeks now. Seems like when it's factory reset the performance vs heat is fine but over time it gets very inconsistent performance and more easily get hot. Doesn't matter if I put things to sleep or not. Feels like it "optimizes" but instead make it way worse.

Same Here,
Its performance has decreased over time, and there are several other issues like overheating and fast drainage of the battery. I think that the software needs some optimization for better control over the temperature of the device, as even when I'm not using the device, it heats up quite a bit
