I use the Samsung Mail app for two gmail accounts. In my gmail accounts I use Labels in conjunction with filters that "skip the In Box" and go directly to the designated Label (folder). That means that most of my new messages never show up in my gmail In Box. This means that they never show up in the Samsung Mail app as a new message.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try to use the "All mail" you will see them all waiting for you there

Thank you for your message.
My question is regarding the Samsung Email app. I believe you are referring to the gmail app. But perhaps I misunderstood.

Thanks for your message.
I have just started using "filters" in gmail on my desktop in an effort to ween myself off of Microsoft Outlook. In Outlook, I use "folders" to organize messages. gmail does not use "folders", it uses "Labels". I have been creating filters where I configured them to "Skip the In Box" in an effort to clean up the IN Box. This is why messages are not being sent to the Email app on my phone. If a message does not have the "In Box" label at the point when a sync occurs, it won't be forwarded to the Email app on my phone.
I may eventually have to abandon the Samsung Email app and use the gmail app on my Android. Until then I'm trying to figure out how I can continue using the Samsung app because I have grown accustomed to using it.
Cheers

Can you choose which folders "filters" to show in Samsung Email App. If you can, then choose to show "All Mail" folder/"filter"
I had similar issue with google email account on my Microsoft Outlook for Windows, and all I did is I chose to show the "All Mail" folder.

Unfortunately no, you can't see gmail "Labels" on the Samsung Email app, only the Inbox. At least I have not figured out how to do it.

To make a long story short, I have given up on Samsung mail and totally embraced Gmail. It was clearly the way to go for my situation.
