Samsung members still not working - battery life where?

This is a long winded problem all to figure out how to check the life of my battery.

Going to try to be as concise as I can. I'm an iPhone user, and when I looked at my battery health I thought the percentage it was showing was the life of my battery. I spent 120 dollars to get a new one only to realize what I was looking at the percent of my battery literally at the moment. Not the health of my battery. Me and some tech tried to go into diagnostics to see if we can actually discover if this is where I can see the actual HEALTH of my battery; only for my phone to say Samsung members isn't in this region.

- I made a Samsung account today, I live in the states. Linked my Samsung to my Samsung account and made sure everything says USA.

- Checked the forums here and found out Samsung members is having an app issue. Uninstalled it, went to the google play store installed that. Then cleared data and cache per this post. https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/samsung-members-broken-update/m-p/12029347#...

- I also rebooted my phone. I still cannot access the diagnostics settings because it's blocked behind the Samsung members is not available in this region (9).

Important to note this was a refurbished phone purchased from Amazon.

All I want to know is how do I see the health of my battery? iPhone shows it very straightforwardly, but with Samsung I am confused. If I can find out how to look at my battery health, I can return my phone tomorrow, check the health of the other battery and get my money back because I may have bought a battery I don't even need.

No solution was found here. I'm a US based Samsung user, and I accidentally posted in the wrong forums. In us forums i was suggested to download Devcheck from play store since i cannot access Samsung Members. Worked for me. Got my money back. this thread is closed.

On one ui 7, the battery health is in about phone. Looks like this. I believe the s25 and s24 series phones have it as it's a rather new feature. I don't think the s22 tells you an exact percentage.

The samsung members battery test tells you either "all good" or "replace battery". It doesn't give you any more detail. Yes samsung is a bit behind on battery health but the new phones at least have it.

You are also on the uk samsung forum, you said you are in the US, so we might not be super helpfulBYdBZAkwSo.png

Your region is determined typically by your SIM installed (I think). Therefore if you're using a UK SIM, it would explain why you're here in the EU/UK site and not your native US region.

The battery health thing is a relatively new feature in Android and with Samsung, only been rolling out to the S25 series, but not for all regions and providers. A lot of US carrier phones I believe do not have this information available to them.

Since you're on the S22 forum, I assume you're asking in regard to this particular range. Unfortunately exact % battery health information was not presented in these older devices, however a more crude response is given, either good, normal or bad depending on your battery condition.

The phone was purchased from amazon. i have no idea if the SIM is UK. Also i realize from a fellow poster im somehow in UK forums. It's been a rough day. 🙂 I'll post in the correct region. I believe that was because of the post i linked being in this region that my post showed up here.

So unfortunately, there's no battery health option under battery information. At least on the S22 there isn't. It only shows Status

level

and capacity.

and as i said with another poster. I didnt realize my post ended up in UK, i think i somehow streamlined from the link i posted in my OP. And that was all in UK community. You were still helpful mate, thank you!

I bought my s22 ultra directly from Verizon (USA) and members brought me to the UK forum.
