Even though I'm shining through the app on Netflix, tv shows and movies are very dark. There's nothing wrong with YouTube, but I can't watch a Netflix show. I talked to Netflix and he told me it was about the device. Is anyone else having this problem?

And other hdr videos

I think it would be different due to the difference in brightness capacity of different devices. If you are facing this issue you should compare this with same devices. That's how you can check where the issue lies.

THe reason it is happening is because HDR shows appear dim on Non support devices. Its a simple fix in the Netflix settings.

Not only do I know netflix takes over your brightness and how to change and reload the app. I also know if the dim settings and I still cannot watch Netflix on the s22 plus. The s21 was way better and slightly bigger s rewn

Very very annoying because the Samsung screen is why I have liked them. My wife still has her s21 plus and side beside what went wrong Samsung. I will definitely consider other options next upgrade..next year

I use hbo, Hulu, netflix and paramount the phone screen is darker. Even turning off adaptive brightness setting it to ultra bright and vivid s22 plus screen sucks. I buy samsung tvs for the same reason and I have no complaints there but I want to watch on TV then go on the porch and watch the phone. This "used" to be no problem even in direct sunlight
