Hi,

My phone has had a moisture detection icon displaying for more than 60 hours. I haven't got it wet, it has been inside and hence dry, but it won't wireless charge either. I have tried rice, hairdryer, clearing cache... nothing will get rid of it.

Thoughts pls
Thanks

@Lozza75: Is the 'moisture detected' notification persistent, or does it only show up when you connect your phone to your charger? If you head to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down and select 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache, then restart your device, does this help?

Hi, notification is persistent and phone goes nuts if you try plugging it in to charge. Have tried clearing cache and restarting... currently have phone in a bag with rice in. No joy with anything so far

Clean the charging port with a flat toothpick gently or soft plastic .

I had this issue on holiday, but it worked wireless charging. Came back from holiday and it sorted itself out..

I guess the phone has some kind of protection built in.
