I can easily get around 5.5 to 6 hours of screen on time.
All I did was turn on Power Saving mode, but kept the Alawys On Display setting to ON.

Off topic, but what do you use the Oculus app for ? Reminds me of the fun times I had with the Gear VR. I still have it, too bad it's not compatible with the newer phones. I now use it with my old S7 😀

Mainly as a paper wait 😂 Apart from that just providing the experience to friends and family and played a bit of Hot VR and BeatSaber.

Having to enable PowerSafe means buying an expensive race car and just tuning it down, don't want to do that.

I know what you mean, but it's the only thing I could do to get me a bit more juice out of it. Honestly it's not that noticeable.
