Issues samsung music app

Hi I've put music on my new phone and it just won't play through the music app please help

It could be that the audio file is not supported by the music app. Have you tried another music app like vlc?

Yes it will play though amazon music but when you rip cd then transfer through media play it will not play what is vlc

What format are yoy ripping CD to? You still have cd?

Yes I do and it rips through Windows media player had no problem before now

I have poweramp and jet audio, never had a problem with playing music.

Samsung no longer play wma files, mp3 play fine. Try poweramp from google play, as a free trial, plays everything.
