I have recently bought a Samsung S22 Ultra and have been having issues with Video calls on Whatsapp. The video during the calls just freezes. Calls on any other software work fine. 

I have tried, formating the phone. I have tried clearing data and cache of both phone and WhatsApp but still has not been resolved. 

Can someone please help me with this issue?

I somehow feel there is an issue with the way the camera works.

As you have mentioned this only occurs with calls on WhatsApp, this would indicate it's an app issue and not a phone issue. Perhaps contact WhatsApp to see if they are experiencing any issues?

Samsung Galaxy S22

Whatsapp video call not getting disconnected and the touchscreen is frozen. Nothing works. The caller party also cannot disconnect the call.

The only solution is to force the phone to shutdown by pressing the side button and volume down button together for long time.

The Whatsapp APP cannot be updated on will. It says that App is uptodate.
