I purchased pre paid S 22 Ultra trough Verizon

2 weeks ago went for international trip to St Marteen and cant get any connection using my phone .Spoke with Verizon several times and get no help. They told me i need to come back to United States to make set up Global Service. After i came to US called Verizon ,set up Global service and went for trip to Poland .

I cant belive happened again ,I am in Poland now for a week, no phone service (only wifi calling)

Verizon international team its just waist time because no one from the support technician know what to do

I opened Special Verizon support ticket ,no reponde ,my S 22 Ultra still not working

I never have this problem while using Galaxy Note 1p

Whats wrong with this Samsung??

We're having the same problem in Spain and Portugal. Neither S22 Ultra will connect, but my S8 works fine. Carrier trouble shooting did nothing to help and now they're saying it's a Samsung issue. Very frustrating issue.

The same thing happened with me on Verizon with an S22. Had international roaming plan, phone would only connect for 30 seconds or so and then disconnect. Happened I'm Netherlands, Slovenia, and Romania. Verizon says it's a software issue. Samsung said it is a Verizon problem.

I am having the same issue. I am in Colombia and roaming won’t work for more than 30sec. I have the s22 ultra on Verizon. I called and they weren’t able to fix it. I don’t know what to do.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Hi Guys I had the exact problem, I'm in Mexico with my S22 ultra , 30 seconds ok then no service , I switched my sim card to my old Phone and something ,

So I realized the problem is the new sim cards installed in the s22 ultras,

So what I did I went to verizon.com and activated my old verizon sim card( I was lucky I have it with me) and put it in my s22 ultra and boila, I have service all the time and I'm still in Mexico.

Verizon and samsung should pay me , I found the problem just trying different things, because I called Verizon and they didn't have a clue,

So get an older sim card model , the black 5g one, doesn't work overseas ,

Try it, it works.

I will be in Mexico for more weeks, and the problem at least for me is that I don't have another SIM card, only the black 5G one. So I can't follow noelh007 suggestion. In my point of view, I thought it  is a Samsung issue, but now I believe that this is a Verizon problem with their new SIM cards.

Bring a spare verizon 5g sim card, just in case , its easy to go on verizon.com and activate it, but get the older white one not the new black one like the one is in the S22 ultra , you can google verizon 5g sim cards and see the difference, get it at a verizon store , buy a used one on ebay or check if you have one in your older phones.

I'm in Gudalajara with service on my S22 ultra, now  I see the "R"(roaming) next to the signal bars

5 calls to verizon and samsung didn't help
