Galaxy S22 not getting updates

I had an S22 on Vodafone network which went faulty (reboot loop). I've replaced this phone with another S22 which I purchased second hand.

This new phone seems to be working perfectly however it is not receiving updates. It is still on Android 14, OneUI 6.1 and the latest security update is November 24.

Is there anything I can do to force to to update, I've tried using software update in the settings, but this says my phone is up to date.

Give connecting to a computer and using smartswitch on the computer to see if you have available updates.
Hopefully you have a phone from you region, otherwise getting updates won't be easy if its not.
You can see where it's from looking in settings

Software information
Then scroll down to service provider software
The last set of letters will denote where or who the network provider was the supplied the device

I've tried using Smartswitch, it says my phone is up to date.

service provider software version
SAOMC_SM-S901B_OXM_EUX_14_0139
EUX/-/EUX/EVR

I have no idea what that stands for.

I am in the UK

EVR is EE supplied phone.
Could be its network restricted.
You can try calling EE and see if they can assist with it.
Or maybe try an EE sim card if you know someone or get a pay as you go EE sim to temporarily put in the phone
I'd try calling EE first or pop into an EE shop

Thanks for the info, there's an EE store in town, I'll pop in and see what they can do.

I don't suppose you know why my old S22 switches off and goes into a reboot loop?

Other than doing a factory reset
I can only think it's something hardware related that keeps doing that

I've done a factory reset which hasn't helped.

I was wondering if it may be a battery overheating problem which could be replaced reasonably cheaply, or if it is something more serious and more expensive.
