I am a mom who seems the shoulder the entire familial burden of taking photos (extended family included). I LOVE the galaxy cameras, but why give me this amazing camera without enough storage? I have the s22 ultra, and I've had to replace it twice for damaging the screens, this last replacement was july of 24, and I had the storage maxed out by February. I get SO anxious trying to dump photos onto the computer and having to delete the originals, even with cloud storage and an external hard drive. The quality just seems to degrade when I transfer. I LOVED when I could put photos directly onto the SD card, and still have room to download apps. I've deleted every possible frivolous app, and im still struggling to keep space on this thing! For 1k....give me some storage, PLEASE. I'm STILL going to need cloud storage, and I buy your SD cards. Work with me.

You can't add storage after a phone has been made, so your phone will always have the storage it has.

The s series doesn't support SD cards so sadly that isn't an option.

The s22 did have a 256gb storage option. Which compared to modern phones having 1tb options, yeah it could be a little small.

So there isn't any way for you to add extra storage, you'll just have to move things to your pc. Not 100% sure if the s22 does this but you might be able to plug a usb drive in and have it save videos and pictures to that

Hi @Lunaleigh

Welcome to the community forum.

How much storage do you have on your S22 Ultra? The S22 Ultra had up to 1TB storage.

You could buy a portable SSD drive, like the Samsung Portable SSD T7 USB 3.2 Gen 2. It comes on 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. The 4TB is a bit expensive, but the 2TB has a very reasonable price. You can connect them via the USB port and they are very fast. One could transfer data to and from the phone with ease in seconds.

SD cards are gone from the most phones. Sony is one of the few if not the only one which still provides SD cards ports on their phones.
