Call volume too loud

Hi, I'm new here.

Although nearing the end of my contract for my Samsung galaxy s22, I normally keep my phone as long as possible before getting a new one, so I'm keen to get this issue fixed.

Currently, my phone volume is fine for media etc, but when I receive a call, the volume for the call instantly goes to full volume, deafening me, without me pressing any buttons. I have to lower the volume each time I receive a call. I have no idea why this is happening, it didn't use to, and there's no seperate call volume option, which I think there should be. I assume a recent update caused this issue.

Any ideas on how to sort this?

Clear cache partition of your device see if that resolves it.

If not , you could use a temporary solution like the app called 'volume lock' in play store, until you find a better solution or it gets fixed

That's unusual, normally we get people complaining that the phone is to silent to hear the calls 🤫

Neither of these are necessary.

OP needs to simply turn the volume settings down in settings, sounds.

There are no volume settings for in call in the sounds settings, you can only change when you're actually in a call. Plus they said it keeps jumping back up to full volume everytime .

If you agree there are no settings in sounds to control in call volume why would you tell them to go in sound settings then 😂

By the way wiping the cache partition can fix sound glitches caused by updates which this clearly is lol.

However when you are in a call, you can change volume using the buttons on the side of the device
