Facing display issues on Galaxy S22 Ultra

I bought my S22 ultra IND variant on March 2022. There are no problems found during my daily usage.
But suddenly Yesterday (20th July 2023) night when I was using my S22 ultra to watch a video on Facebook suddenly White light band appeared on my screen and the right portion of the display showing tinted color/mixture of green & yellow appeared without any reason I don't know.
My device have no physical damage or I have dropped my device never ever. Its display motion smoothness frequency was set to Adaptive.
Then from yesterday night, I found from various sources and even in the Samsung Mobile community also, that some people using S22 Ultra bought from various regions are facing with this same issue. Some have white band on the right side and some of them got it on the left side next to the camera cutout. But the problem is the same.

A quick temporary solution is that, to set the display frequency set 60 Hrz and the white band disappeared. But the screen is slightly yellowish than normal.

After all this, I contacted Samsung Customer Care and they took my phone remote, whatever steps they are saying, I had already done those like reset settings, switch on off, factory reset etc. Then I requested them to launch a complaint and they launch my complaint.

Please help me @samsungmobile

Hi Helen,

After frequently contacted support team, finally they fixed it after 3 weeks. I suggest you the same.

Go to settings and change the display to standard from adaptive... It'll fix it and it happens after you install an update

almost as if we can't even trust Samsung with the updates. It seems software issues are a growing trend with Samsung and their latest updates... very disappointing indeed

Hi, My Samsung also has the same problem and was purchased in the same month as you purchased i.e. March 2022!! 

I know you reported this in July 2023 but problem in my phone just came today and I noticed we both purchased in March 2022 when it was launched!! It seems like a manufacturing defect in One lot!

I got the same problem today. Suddenly, I noticed that the right side of display just beside the front camera as shown in the picture here got this thick white line. Then I switched the display to 60 hz and it was disappeared. But still its shown on 120 hz refresh rate. And the display doesn't look the same as it was before. Very sad, Samsung. Poor and shameful attitude towards customer. Samsung definitely will lose its market for its very common display issues going for a long time.

I have started facing this issue from yesterday, exactly same issue but it's happening on left side for me. Changing from adaptive to smooth is temporary fix. whenever screen turns on I see the green screen for split second. Samsung should acknowledge this and provide replacements

Hi, 

The only solution I got is that the Bright Band disappears if you keep Power Saving ON! Samsung here is not accepting it as a Warranty claim!
