Any ideas on why I can't use Samsung wallet due to "Connection error Please try again later " message. I'm trying to use my Watch nfc for payments.. I have updated everything, un and reinstalled everything related to it as per samsung web site....
Any help is appreciated 🙏

May I ask ~ Has your Samsung Wallet function worked OK before on this phone @Jay1607  ?

I appreciate it can be somewhat annoying when a function or feature does not work when it should.

A good generic troubleshooting step is > Try clearing the cache and data of the app which can be completed by navigating to Settings > Apps > Samsung Wallet > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data as a last resort.

Another is > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

Check the permissions withon the App please.

Can I ask does Google Wallet work as an interim workaround ?

You can also seek support from Samsung via the feedback section in your Samsung Members App.

Sometimes performing a forum search can bring about new tips to try.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

If you've had this problem from scratch it's one symptom of a phone that failed to localise on initial setup. This would happen if you setup the phone on WiFi initially before you put a simcard in.

If you goto settings-> about -> software information -> service provider software version.

If it says EUX many times it means your phone is in a generic EU firmware, when it should have localised to a country specific one.

There used to be multiple ways to change this 'CSC' code. When it happened to my S23 the only working free solution I found was an online tool SamFW which allows you to connect to your phone by ADB and change the CSC. You can also Google the right CSC code for your country. The tool gives you the list that the phone is prepared for.

Samsung's answer to this initialisation bug is unfortunately to send the phone in for repair.

Obviously it's a risk, you don't know me, you don't know the tool, but Google 'SamFW' and look at this tool (for unlocking Samsung phones and downloading firmwares). One feature it has is changing CSC, a free feature. It's just worked for me tonight.

It has to run on windows.

Do you mean ADB? Where does it say it can't find it? Did you install the Samsung USB drivers? And follow the instructions to turn on USB Debugging on the phone develop tools?
