Facebook messenger error

I am getting a Facebook messenger error to update in the Google Play Store. 

I have uninstalled/ installed apps & and seem to be working correctly? But I get an update error in the Google Play Store as though the app is looking for an update, 

but no update is available when you click on notification.

This isn't the first post with this issue.
Go to settings > security and privacy > Updates. Make sure your Google play system are on the latest update.
Clear the Google play apps cache, reboot the device. If still issue persists. I'm guessing you just need to wait for a fix.

Thanks for responding. I have emptied cache & uninstall & unfortunately still the same fortunately its nothing major sit & wait until patched like you say .
