Android auto, google assistant and an echo

Wanted to get this out there.... my S22 has been echoing with the Google assistant in android auto. Turn sound settings equaliser to normal and take off adapt sound. Echo gone. Sounds like Samsung need to do an update on the phone...my Samsung S20 didn't have this issue. Worked fine.

For the Waze issue, anyone having issues with half directions and cutting out mid direction. Try changing the voice. This cured it for me too.

Anyone at Samsung on here? Can you please look at the sound issue?

Not having such an issue with AA when asking Google to navigate.

Well here it is November 2023 and apparently this problem still affects the s23. Thanks for the tip about turning off Adapt sound to get around the problem. That worked but hopefully Samsung will fix the underlying issue.

I wear hearing a-i-d-s (no clue why forum bot *'s that word!?) and had this turned on. one reason i stuck with Samsung and left the Pixel. Guess this kinda defeats that purpose! ☹️

PS: To forum admins. It took me 15 minutes to get logged in to post a reply! gave up trying on my phone, finally got in using Chrome! Not great!

A35 is experiencing this issue after update too. Changing Equalizer to normal and turning off adaptive sound has done nothing to remedy the issue. Tried changing voice in waze and again didnt help. Google Maps does tje same thing. It only sounds like the assistant is in a ballpark talking for about the first 2 seconds then it goes back to normal but does it all over again with every turn. This only happens with navigation apps and nothing else
