Just wondering what everyone thinks who has the exynos variant of the phone? Is really as bad as what people are saying?
Still have not received my phone so I still can cancel my pre order but man I'm just getting more disappointed my every passing day with Samsung. First the delayed delivery of the phone and now I found out the exynos is under powered.

I'm hearing tones of people saying it terrible but I own one my self and honestly I'm having no issues, games run very smoothly. Temps don't get too hot they hit a max of 40 degrees but that's after heavy gaming.

So in honesty I think it's amazing compared to my s20 ultra I had

I have a s22 ultra and i have HORRENDOUS battery life topping out at 4hrs sot max first days but i think that is just me, ive used for a week and now its at 5hrs- 6hrs not great no good even. performance wise, it lack behind ALOT. This is all my experience and maybe yours will be different, but if you are trading in like i did dont make the mistake of sending the device in too early like i did because u cant clam your phone or money back after they have processed it. Sadly this is the reason im stuck with this phone now

Look. That's lots of inconsistent user experience of this phone. If your are coming from a phone less than 2 years old, just save your money. Seriously.

In 6 months we'll know if it has software, firmware or early batches. Until then, it's a total lottery and the prize isn't monumental.

I'm getting 11 hours out of my phone as I've set up deep sleeping apps and that's helped battery life a lot.

If also turned on adaptive display as that's helped a lot too as when having adaptive off I find it uses more battery.

I also look for things you don't need downloaded on your phone.

But people also need to remember this phone has only just been sent out. This happens every year. So wait for updates to fix these problems

Mine has been great. Battery was rubbish for the first few days, but that was mainly down to installing everything and using it ALL the time.

I'd say since the weekend, the battery has been great. At worst it's the same as my S21 Ultra, but possibly a bit better.

There definitely seem to be a fair few devices out there with problems, be it software or hardware related, but my experience has been nothing but positive.

Great scores on Geekbench compared to my S21 Ultra (and ones I've seen for the snapdragon version)

Sent my S21 Ultra back yesterday as part of the trade-in offer, so I'm committed now 🙂

Yea but here's the thing is that I need to upgrade my phone I love my s10 and before that I had s8 but I need an upgrade badly as my s10 battery's life is awful but i could live with that. The main reason i want to upgrade is for the camera butcwhat I'm hearing is that the exynos is just terrible.

You'll notice an improvement over the S10 but it's only £50 or so to pay Samsung to replace your battery.

You just play the lottery to whether you get a decent S22 or a dud. 😞

Exynos ain't great. Your 4G upload will drop if you move over to S22. The S22 is generally better than the S21 in my eyes. 3 years is time enough to upgrade. 1 year, definitely not.
