Hey, I have the same issue, downgrading the firmware was my next step but I can rule that out now thanks to you.

He ultimately had to have some parts replaced inside his phone. I'm assuming where the e-sim is stored! I'm thinking of taking my phone to a repair centre but then closest one is 45mins away. I'm hoping it doesn't cost too much.

Stesso problema e sono a 5000km da casa... ESim disattivata e sim fisica non rilevata. Samsung Galaxy S22... Qualcuno ha risolto?

Hey guys, i am happy to share i found a fix! I just bought an iPhone.
I cant believe in 2023 u can brick your phone when trying to add an eSIM. The phone now is unusable. Pretty lame...

Sorry, your phones can't be repaired and they need to be replaced. I'm certain that the faults are caused by eSim profiles with missing information. The handsets aren't designed to reject them and these faulty profiles cant be deleted either because the delete function only works on activated profiles.
Samsung don't care about it either

today authorised samsung service taken my s22 ultra with the same issue as above and they promissed they will fix it up to four business days

I hope sincerely that they can fix your phone!
Any idea whether this would fall under the warranty?
The issue is so frustrating; it seems indeed that the eSims are in fact not compatible.. If anyone has a solution, please share 🙂

I contacted with Airalo, and they support informed me that this issue is related to latest OS update, and they are working on a solution

I have the same problem, but unfortunately the hard reset did NOT worked. I did it several times, and the esim (from Airalo) is still there, and no sim card detected!.
I went to an official samsung service near current location (USA) but they say they cannot fix it

Thanks for sharing.
The third party through which I bought my S22 told me to go to an official Samsung store to save time. He said they should be able to fix it on the spot, but let's see. Will share an update after.
