Decreased Bluetooth range since Android 15 update

Hey, I have just seen loads of people complaining about problems even with flagship phones after the Android 15 update. Mine is minor compared to others, as all the basic functions actually work, although I have had the feeling of increased lag in some apps.
I have not seen my problem mentioned so far, so putting it out there into the pile of complaints.
I use JLab bluetooth earbuds and have experienced significant decreased range and quality since the update. Like phone is in left pocket, earbud in right ear, standing upright is OK, but when I bend down or crouch, connection is lost. Or I go 3 meters away into the kitchen on the other side of a partition wall and connection is lost.

As a side note, airplane mode used to turn bluetooth off regardless of being connected to anything. Now it will stay on if connected.... I don't like it.

The last thing you mentioned is actually my preference (I got a notification saying it kept it in because I usually turn it back on in airplane mode...). But I guess Samsung could give you the option to choose what happens when turning on airplane mode.

Use phone diagnostics in Samsung members app. That Bluetooth range sounds way too low. I'm not sure what else to say.1751764612513.jpg

Have you tried your earbuds with a different device to ensure it's a problem with the specific phone?
