Hi all, my little girl just got her dexcom g6 blood glucose machine today,  it's saying its not compatible with my s22 ultra (so I can see her glucose levels  without finger pricking her) is there anyone who has or knows someone having the same problem and what they do? Thanks in advance

Yaya74....you are WRONG.   If you actually follow my instructions you'll have the latest version.  I'm running version 1.10.0.6 on my S22 Ultra.   Unless there's a more current version that I don't know about? If so, tell us all what that version is.

Thanks for posting this... however, my old phone was traded in and another old phone I have isn't compatible either.  I'm trying to find someone I know that doesn't have an iPhone!!  Is there another work around using a MacBook?  Just trying to think outside the box to see if there is another way....

I've followed the steps above and managed to install the Dexcom app on my Samsung S22 Ultra, however it won't allow me to login on the new phone? Any advise please.

I've followed the steps and got it install, but can't get past the login on the new S22 Ultra.  It says the account or password is incorrect.   Installing the app and using the account and password works on my S20 just fine, but not on the S22 Ultra.     Shut off the original phone and waited for an hour with no effect.  Uninstalled the app on all phones, re-installed it on the S22 and still the S22 Ultra says the account and password were incorrect.   Installed the software back on the S20 and the account and password works just fine.

Found my problem.     The account name had to be followed by a "space".   If the account name was "samsmith", the entry had to be "samsmith ",    with a space after the name.     This was for the app which was transferred from my original phone to the S22 Ultra.     This may be the problem for your account.   Give it a try.       As for the application created for Dexcom One from the link provided in one the messages above, don't recommend that US users use that.  It required to the country to be identified and didn't list the united states or "US".   The closest I found was the UK (United Kingdom).   When I put in the transmitter S/N it kept replying that the S/N was invalid.

Thanks to this site and users for sharing the Galaxy Smart Switch approach.   This is really appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for this info.  I had great hopes I would be up and running but I have followed the advice exactly and used an older Android (Note 9) with no luck.  When I open the G6 app it just says my device is not compatible and brings me into the list of compatible devices.

Very disappointed in Dexcom as it took me a long time to get it.  Hard to believe they are still not compatible!

Can I check if the G6 app on the old phone had to be activated i,e must you have been using it with the Dexcom G6 sensor already for the transfer to work on the new phone as I am just trying to start using the Dexcom for the very first time
