Deleted pictures reappear in gallery s22 ultra

Why do my deleted photos and videos keep coming back to gallery on my S22 ultra?

It's happened to my s10 plus try clear data of gallery if not restart phone then try again also reset camera clear data

@Emma2k: Did you capture the photos and videos using the Camera app on your Galaxy S22 Ultra, or were they downloaded from a media app, such as WhatsApp? If it's the latter, please take a look at the sync settings in the relevant app to see if it is set to automatically download files. Alternatively, head to the Gallery app > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Settings > Sync with OneDrive, and explore your settings from here.

Also you don't have Google photos installed do you as that is a pain for throwing them back on.
